He was a founding Director of the Whistler Resort Association in 1979 and was the chairman of the Board from 1982 to 1986 when he became the Mayor of Whistler.

    <bio>In 1975, much to my family's dismay, I took a year off university to ski in Whistler. At that time the Village was a dream while in reality a landfill. After one season I was hooked and knew then I had to call Whistler home. I have lived through the evolution of a small regional ski resort into an award winning Four Season Resort. This unique perspective allows me to educate you on all facets of the Resort.

In 1986 I received my real estate license and today offer 16 years of award winning Whistler sales experience in chalets, condominiums and recreational properties. Whistler and Pemberton are two of the fastest growing communities in Canada, each with their own individual challenges.

Honesty and loyalty are two of the cornerstones of a good working relationship. As your agent you can expect a comfortable, no pressure process. In fact sometimes the best advice is to not buy or sell at a given time. In return I will appreciate your loyalty as a client.

A love of challenges is part of what makes a successful realtor. After receiving my sales license I completed the education for my broker's license. Through the years I have built my own home, renovated a condominium that I manage through the internet as well as own a Phase 2 condominium. While I love to work... I love to play as well. Skiing, of course, brought me here and I still get out on the Hill for both downhill and cross country. The summer is all about biking, hiking and enjoying all the events that the Resort has to offer. Traveling for mountain biking  has allowed me to visit most of the Resorts in Colorado and Utah as well as some great European Mountain Villages. I always come home with a new appreciation of what a special spot Whistler is and how we stack up against the competition.
