Arv moved to Whistler in 1978 after a lengthy business and sales career in Vancouver. He was initially attracted by the opportunity to be part of turning the vision for Whistler from a dream into a reality from the ground floor up. Although many said it couldn’t be done, Arv saw the potential of Whistler and embraced it. Once here, the people, the energy and the scenery made Whistler Arv’s home. In partnership with Drew Meredith, Arv moved the company in 1980 into its first village location where it was the second operating business in the village. His career highlights include marketing and selling most of the first phase of the Benchlands, all of Blueberry Hill and Green Lakes Estates for the developers and co-coordinating the original fund-raising for The Dandelion Daycare through Whistler Night (Now the Festival of Lights). A true professional, Arv mentors many of the new realtors who join our firm and being a true team player, contributes every day to the company’s success.
