“I like to be the superpower in people’s back pockets,” says Lisa Ames.
She’s a chronic fixer – helping homeowners find just the right person to tackle a reno or fix the hot tub. Even to walk the dog. (She’s even done that for clients, herself.) Not to mention providing the odd bit of therapy, mediation or garbage disposal. It’s all in a day’s work when you write your own job description and it reads simply: Make Pemberton Awesome.
With 15 years experience working as a Realtor® for residential and commercial projects, with developers and in local and provincial government, and her fantastically in-depth understanding of the Pemberton area and property landscape, Lisa helps clients navigate the Pemberton market with the best intell available.
A full-time resident of the Sea to Sky corridor for over 30 years, Lisa’s formal community involvement extends in every direction – from the Pemberton Childcare Society, to The Rotary Club, to Pemberton Chamber of Commerce, to various boards and advisory committees. She calls herself a “recovering politician” — even several years after sitting on Council, her passion for community engagement isn’t easily outgrown. It just happens now outside the town hall.
She’s a business-savvy, community-oriented, proud mom, and that well-roundedness gives Lisa her unique blend of perspective and results. In her world, quality of life, character of community and clear eyed investment can, and do, come together.
She has lived as a single, couple, family, and empty-nester in Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton, and facilitated hundreds of sales for clients in all stages of life.
