With the amount of paperwork required when buying a home, it can be a lot to take in. Your lawyer will review all documentation and check that there is nothing to impeded your purchase or use of the property. They will also attend the closing and go over everything you are required to sign.
If you are selling a property the lawyer will prepare the purchasing or sale agreement, along with negotiating the terms.
Along with also attending the closing and reviewing the paperwork, your lawyer will arrange the transfer of security deposits and any insurance certificates.
